HOUSTON, TEXAS – March 15, 2005 – Pharm-Olam International Ltd. (POI) is very pleased to announce the addition of Ms. Madeline Ducate, Vice President of Global Services. She will manage all clinical activities and integration of operational issues worldwide.

Madeline comes to us with over 25 years of clinical research experience, starting her career at G.H. Besselaar Associates (now Covance) where she worked for seven years before joining Pharmaco (now PPD) for 13 years. She has worked and lived in Europe for over eight years – two years in Brussels helping to set up Pharmaco's European operations and later for six years in England, developing new offices in various countries throughout the world and eventually serving as Vice President of Clinical Operations and Project Management for Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia at PPD Development. More recently, Madeline has been the Vice President of Global Operations for Neeman Medical International, a site management organization (SMO) with locations in India, Latin America and the United States.

She has earned an undergraduate degree in medical technology and a Master of Science in molecular biology, a Master in Management and Supervising and a Master of Public Health with an emphasis on epidemiology, statistics and clinical research. She is also an assistant professor at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and teaches a graduate course in regulatory requirements in clinical investigations.
